PADI OPEN WATER DIVER
The most well known beginner’s dive course in the world, suitable for most people
Become a certified diver in just 3 days.
You’ll learn how to dive safely and how to protect the environment
What will I do?
Theory: All course theory is done online before you arrive. You will read the e-manual, answer the Knowledge Reviews, take the Quizzes and complete a multiple choice exam
Confined water training: On day one of your course you will be in our on-site swimming pool to start your dive training. We will teach you to the use SCUBA equipment with plenty of time to practice the skills
Open water dives: Day two will be open water dives 1-2 at our local house reef. On day three you’ll do open water dives 3-4. This will be either on our local Artificial Reef the Bangsak Wreck or the Similan Islands . See below for our 2 course options
After completing your course you will receive a PADI Open Water Diver certification e-card. With this e-card you can dive anywhere in the world! Also available for Juniors aged 10-14 years
Option 1: Local Diving in Khao Lak
Begin your journey on day one with confined water training in our pool.
On day two, the open water dives 1+2 will be at Khao Na Yak Reef. On day three, you will complete your course at either the Artificial Reef or the Bangsak wreck for open water dives 3+4.

Our comprehensive diving course in Khao Lak offers incredible value.
Begin your journey on day one with confined water training in our pool. On day two, the open water dives 1+2 will be at Khao Na Yak Reef. On day three, you will complete your course at the Similan Islands for open water dives 3+4.

PADI Open Water Course Options
Entry level certification course – the most well-known diving certification in the world!
Prerequisites: You must be able to swim 200m
Age: Open Water Diver: 15 years
Junior Open Water Diver: 10 years
Course length: 3 days
Course overview: 5 chapters of theory (online), 5 confined water sessions & 4 open water dives
Group size: Max. 4 students per course
Open Water e-Manual: This is included in your course price. You will study online in advance of the course start date

Certification: You will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver. You can dive to a depth of 18m with a buddy. Junior Open Water Divers must always be accompanied by a certified adult diver. Juniors aged 10-11 years are restricted to 12m max. depth

This is a 3-day course, which can start any day, scheduled upon request
Before the course starts: The theory is all completed online in advance, so the earlier you book the more time you will have to prepare. Check-in at the dive center one day before the course starts
Day 1 – Quick Review of theory + confined water training dives in our on-site swimming pool
Day 2 – open water dives 1+2 at Khao Na Yak Reef, near Khao Lak
Day 3 – open water dives 3+4 at either the Artificial Reef, the local wreck at Khao Lak or the Similan Islands

PADI OPEN WATER REFERRAL
Start at home and finish on holiday!
Did you know you can split your course and do sections of the training in two different places? This is called the PADI Open Water Referral and takes 2 days.
If you have completed all the theory & confined water sessions already, you can finish the course with us. You must have the correct paperwork signed by your previous instructor
What will I do?
Day 1: assessement of theory and pool skills– we need to check what you know. Followed by two Open Water training dives on our local coral reef
Day 2: two more Open Water training dives on either our Artificial Reef/Wreck or the Similan Islands
On completion of your course you will receive a PADI Open Water Diver diving certification e-card. With this e-card you can dive anywhere in the world! Also available for Juniors aged 10-14 years
PADI Open Water Referral Course Options
Option 1: Local Diving Khao Lak
All course dives completed at sites close to Khao Lak. Perfect if you’d like shorter days and a cheaper price. As above, we start with a theory and skill review on day one and a day trip to the local reef for open water dives 1 + 2. On day two we visit the Artificial Reef or local wreck for course dives 3 + 4

PADI SCUBA DIVER UPGRADE TO OPEN WATER DIVER
Upgrade your PADI Scuba Diver certification to the full PADI Open Water certification
This course continues where your Scuba Diver course ended. It is the second half of the PADI Open Water course. After this 1.5 day course you’ll be certified to dive to 18m with a buddy
What will I do?
Day 1: half day to review your theory & skills, followed by two confined water training dives in our on-site swimming pool
Day 2: two Open Water training dives on either our Artificial Reef or on a Similan day trip or on one of our live aboard trips
On completion of your course you will receive a PADI Open Water Diver diving certification card. With this card you can dive anywhere in the world!
Also available for Juniors aged 10-14 years
